I’m finally finished tracking all the songs on the Theme album! Now on to mixing, mastering, naming the album, artwork and duplicating. No big deal. Check out this pic Bailey took of me ripping on a Gibson SG. We piped the tracks through some PA speakers into the room I was in so it felt more like I was playing live. I find it a lot easier getting into the song when it’s loud and you can feel the bass. I believe this was taken during the last session for this year’s theme song.

I’m excited to say that this year’s theme song is written and we are tracking it today in the studio. Everything else is being mixed down so I’m really close to having this project finally complete. It’s been fun reliving some of these old songs. I took the liberty to change a couple of them a bit to put a little life in ‘em. We added some string arrangements, stacked some vocals, and had fun with a little speaker and a big microphone (see pic).I’m shooting to have it completed and duplicated by the end of May so we can have it ready for the start of summer.
